4-Tricks
A few weeks ago at the World Trials round our tent where we set up the ITSA Vintage Trials Bike display was directly across from the pits of Honda and Scorpa. That was cool.
Scorpa had a few bikes available for demo rides, including a couple of SY125's, one of the new for 2006 (and gorgeous) SY250F four-strokes, and this weird little x-generation influenced piece of gear called the 4-Tricks. It's essentially a BMX bike with suspension, disc brakes, and a 70cc Yamaha four-stroke motor. A link to the specs page is HERE .
The Guru is pretty tight with the Scorpa crew so he wandered over and talked them out of the 4-Tricks for a while, so we all got to take a shot at it. Here we see the Trialsrooster aboard. I thought it was twitchy as hell and kind of spindly, but then again, I'm quite sure they had Gen-X'ers in mind as their target market.....a demographic that's three (or four!) decades younger and fifty pounds lighter than me. Alas.

One thing about that rig, it'd be a lot easier to push back to the truck than what I'm used to pushing.
Yeah, but damn Pap, that'd take all that fun and exercise out of your week-ends!
Looks like a cool pit bike you could kill your self on after a couple of drinks.
Oh yah. Whats it look like with a normal sized person on it?
Hmmmmm, the same, only smaller.....
