Redneck Rumble

Sam and I checked out the "Redneck Rumble" hot-rod show at the Ward Agricultural Fairgrounds in Lebanon, Tennessee. Easily the best and most fun of the seven car shows I've attended this year. More of a run what you brung kind of hot-rod show, as opposed to a "classic" muscle car show.

The ideas and creativity of the "rat-rod" contingent (easily 60% of the total show entrants) show a form of ideas that's as visual and functionally divergent as any you've ever seen.

There were some good bikes too. You're probably gonna' be sick of all this shit by Tuesday, but what the hell.

It was good to see Big Al Dente and Miss Sydney.

Rock on.....

As A somewhat experienced build you rat rod from scratch kinda guy, it looks like if'n you hit a speed bump with those two it would tear the body clean off the frame. cool as shit though. Wish I were in the pic driving the Econo rod. l8tr, Dean

Did they drive these, or trailer them? One good kick and some of those doors are coming off.. :-) Still, there's something very cool about them in a Mad Max sort of way.
