Not sure which one of those two cars you'd be more likely to see on the wrong end of a tow strap! I suppose the TR7 has the more notorious reputation than the MG...
I was at a IMSA 6 hour road race back in 78 and there was a really sharp white TR-7 race car with a large red maple leaf on the bonnet.
About an hour into the race, I realized I hadn't seen the TR-7 for a few laps and got up on the roof of our van to see the whole track..(Talladega).... Sure enough, there was the TR-7, right where it was supposed to be...... on the grass in the infield with the bonnet up and smoke pouring out of the engine bay.........
But since I have owned 4 english cars..(a MGC, 2 MGB's and a TVR Griffith) ya still have to love um.
