Wasted Away Again.....

Up The Creek

Thursday afternoon as soon as the final monsoon slacked off I hopped on a motorbike to take a cruise around the ranch and check out the creek and some of the muddier sections. The wind was still whipping and the water was a rockin' from the underground springs and boy, was it ever muddy!

Afterwards, on the drive home I stopped at the little market to snag some refreshments. As I'm checking out the India Indian cat that owns the joint asks me (please insert accent from any Dell phone service representative here), "We are still in the tornado warning, no?"

"Doh?" I say back. Doh indeed. Ah well, at least I would have gone happily, I was in the woods and I was on my motorbike.
