Today's Victim Teaser

This just a bit of a Today's Victim teaser. Bultaco Metralla MK2. More Sataturday maƱana, I hope, and maybe even a ride impression. No heroics for me though, hell I probably couldn't afford the tail-light lens!

Kenny Dreer and company are accecpting deposits for the 2007 model Nortons. Real motorcycles, boys and girls. You can check them out HERE . If I ever hit the lottery this is on the short list. Oh yeah.

Over and Under

Mutt and Jeff of the equine world, these two fellows are good buddies. Or so it appears whenever I ride by on my motorbike commute. They romp around their field together or do the casual lean-on-each-other that horses seem to do so well.

Happy whatever your celebrating.
Or not. How's that for p.c.?

Bipolar Trumpy Christmas

On a different tack from our previous post when we were making sure that The Donald got his for Christmas, some of you may be in a different charitable mood but may be wondering which of the charity organizations actually disperse your contributions to the most deserving of recipients. Hopefully the following links might help......

A Jolly Trumpy Christmas

Okay, let's say you're the new Mrs. Donald Trump (heaven forbid, but just for the sake of this silliness run with us) and you've got to buy the guy with the really bad hair something to put under the tree next weekend. Here at Skatetruck we thought we'd help her out and came up with these gems.

We have often laid in bed at night wondering what a $325,000 pair of audio speakers looked like, haven't you? Read that again boys and girls, a pair of stereo speakers that cost the municipal budget of a small town. You can check out the Sphaeron Excalibur's HERE .

Just what everyone needs, a 43 thousand dollar sportbike........Well, not really.....anyway this is the F4-1000 MV-Augusta that all the mainstream cycle mags have soiled their panties and their pages with in the past few months.

Or how about a Breitling Chrono Avenger Professional aviators watch with a built in emergency transponding beacon in case of a plane crash, or maybe just in case The Donald gets lost in his own house. Prices to $37,500.

Well, that about exhausts our budget. If you have any other suggestions to excess let us know here at Skatetruck and we'll make sure The Mrs. Trump gets them.

Are we being politically incorrect if we say Happy Holidays? Who cares.

Happy Holidays Y'all

Farmer Fred

Well yeah, but supposing Bill isn't ready to be presented yet?

Oh. Sorry.

Um. The guy in the pick-up truck is Farmer Fred. I had the distinct pleasure of following Farmer Fred all over my little town the other day at this same distance for about fifteen minutes. It wasn't very hard. He never got over eleven miles per hour at any point during our travels. He was paying his utilities, as was I, and we pretty much just idled all over town from drive-up-window to drive-up-window in symbiotic disharmony. In another space and time I would have wanted to drag him from his vehicle and freaking strangle him, but in this life I just enjoyed our tour of town.

Man, I hope he doesn't think I'm stalking him now, or something equally inane. That's a carved axe-handle walking-stick in the gun rack over his right ear.....

Cool (and totally senseless) link for the day is HERE . Thanks to TLC for the link......

Leadsleds

Check out the twin drop-top Ponchos. They didn't appear to be restored, but looked to be in great shape. I don't have a clue what year models these are. Dale, help us out.....

From this angle they kind of look like a Hal Needham/Burt Reynolds work in progress.....

GasGas Again

Some more on the Gas Gas TXT PRO 300 that we delivered yesterday.

I just thought you'd like to see it from a riders point of view. Thin is not even the word to apply to it's cross section view from the pegs. A tiny little weapon.

There are some jewel-like bits of machined aluminum scattered all about the bike. The rear shock is by Ohlins. Some of the technology is from the current crop of high-tech racing mountain bikes. I don't know that you'd call that trickle-down technology, maybe more like trickle-up to me.

For example, the fork tubes are aluminum. Nope, I'm not talking about the lower female big end, I'm talking about the upper sliders. With a gorgeous black nitride coating. Whooo.....

New GasGas

Okay, let's just talk about this Gas Gas TXT PRO 300 then.

If you don't think this damn thing will jump up onto the top of a U-Haul trailer from a balanced standing stop then you just don't have the right squirrel standing on the pegs and twisting the throttle and un-weighting the suspension. 'Cause it will jump right the hell up on top of a U-Haul trailer!

This is the first of the '06 models to come through B&J Racing and we are mightly impressed with the abilities of this machine. It's not for the faint of heart! And it is gorgeously turned out.

We mentioned something about the up-coming Ducati motard style bike a while ago........More on the Ducati Hypermotard can be found HERE . Wear your drool buckets boys and girls.......
