Nash-Vegas
What a gorgeous guitar. Makes me wish I had a pick big enough to strike a big old open E-chord.....
Lord only knows what you'll find here....There'll be rants and raves and skating and motorcycles and guitars and whatever else might be necessary to pass the time. Thanks for stopping in......

Thanks to Elvis Wilson for the pic
On Easter Sunday I got to take part in a downhill skate race slash poker run that we donated all the proceeds from to Easter Seals. There were three ways to win, win the race, have the best poker hand, or have the best Easter Bunny costume. We started on Capitol Hill and wove our way downtown through Nash-Vegas to near Lafayette and the old Sears building.
Our poker stops along the way included T-PAC, The Ryman, The new Schermerhorn, and the GEC.....
On the poker hand side of it I had a pair of Queens that I was pretty happy with, but my buddy Zato-Ichi beat out my ladies with two pair. Dang.
On the race front, I finished last. I might have done better but I blame my finish on our our documentation guy Elvis. Ya' see, he wanted a speed shot of me so I'd skate this block on Sixth Ave. and then walk back up, and then skate past him again. Three times at least. In this pic I'm probably doing at least an earth shaking ten miles an hour. Maybe twelve......nice speed tuck though, huh?
Finally, I'm sorry y'all, for the prize of a t-shirt and some stickers (although I've always been a sucker for some stickers) or maybe a new skate deck, Pee Wee don't dress up like the Easter Bunny!
It was a total hoot though, blasting past walking cops, and getting your card at the Ryman and then timing the traffic light just right at Broadway to bang across with all the traffic along with the pedestrian tourists and carriage rides was a major laugh. I can't wait to do it all over again!

I've always heard that some days you're the windshield, and some days you're the bug. Here I am being the bug.
But, if you'll look closely you can see that I've still got one foot on the peg, a smile on my face and a positive attitude that says, "I can save this!" and get out of Section 16 with only a one or so. HA! Fat chance.....but keep that sense of humor boy, it's critical.
There may be video of this fiasco, but thank goodness it hasn't surfaced yet......
