Saw this shirt at the Adams Threshing a few weeks ago. Probably don't have to explain what this whole damb fambly was like. The gene pool was seriously shallow.

Being from the south I'm all good with southern heritage to a point, but the killing of animals for fun, sport, and gambling is just wrong, I don't give a damn who your higher power is.

The 450 A class literally explodes out of the starting gate at the 30th annual Loretta Lynn's Amateur Nationals yesterday. What a glorious noise, fourty-four four-strokers unleashed at the same time. Sam and I just walked around grinning and soaking up the atmosphere that is just being somewhere that racing is going on.

On a far more suck-ass motorcycling note, R.I.P. Gary Nixon . According to SOUP he passed away yesterday in Baltimore at age seventy due to a heart attack. An iconic racer and personality, he will be sorely missed. My absolute favorite picture of Gary Nixon is here . Godspeed Gary.....
